With the show’s home country neutral both in politics as well as in automotive production, a wide variety of car companies bring their wares to this show, including such exotic brands as Pagani, Koenigsegg and Spyker. The Geneva Motor Show takes place every March and is widely attended by visitors from all over Europe.
Perhaps the best aspect of the event from a potential visitor's point of view is that the convention centre is situated right next door to Geneva's airport, making a day-trip a real possibility. Geneva is served by low-cost carriers like EasyJet from the UK, as well as by more established airlines like British Airways. Flights are from as little as £25 one-way.
The show opens to the public on Thursday March 5, and runs continuously until the end of the day, Sunday March 15. Entry costs CHF14, with under 16s and pensioners CHF8.
